AI Assistant.co ("we", "us", or "our") provides AI-powered SMS communication services directly to customers. This page describes how opt-in and opt-out work for SMS communications with our AI assistants, and what you can expect when texting a phone number operated by AI Assistant.co.

1. How You Opt In

Mobile-Originated (MO) Opt-In

When you send a text message to a phone number operated by AI Assistant.co, you are initiating the conversation. That first message serves as your explicit opt-in to receive automated AI-powered SMS responses from our AI assistant. No additional sign-up or confirmation is required.

By texting the number, you acknowledge that:

  • You are providing consent to receive automated SMS messages in response to your inquiry.
  • Responses are generated by AI Assistant.co's AI assistant.
  • Msg & data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase.

2. Types of Messages You Will Receive

Messages are sent only in direct response to your inquiries or requests. You may receive:

  • Answers to your customer support questions
  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, or scheduling assistance
  • General business information (hours, location, services)
  • Follow-up messages to complete your request

We do not send unsolicited marketing messages, promotional blasts, or messages unrelated to your original inquiry.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the nature and volume of your interactions. Messages are sent only in response to your inquiries. There is no fixed number of messages per month; you control the frequency by the messages you send.

4. How to Opt Out (STOP)

To stop receiving messages:

Reply STOP to any message at any time.

You will receive a single confirmation: "You have been unsubscribed. No further messages will be sent. Reply START to re-subscribe."

After opting out, no additional messages will be sent to your number from that phone number. To re-subscribe, reply START.

5. Getting Help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any message to receive assistance. You will receive a response with contact information and a link to this page. You may also contact us directly at aiassistant.co/contact.

6. Message & Data Rates

Msg & data rates may apply. AI Assistant.co does not charge for SMS messages. Any charges are determined solely by your mobile carrier. Contact your carrier for details on your messaging plan.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Privacy & Data Use

Your mobile phone number and message content are collected to deliver the AI assistant service. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or message content with third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is supported by all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and regional carriers. Carrier availability may vary.
